Kisah botol mayonis, megi tomyam dan air freshener

Mataku melilau ke sekeliling. Darap langkahku tidak kedengaran memandangkan aku memakai kasut tapak getah. Laju. Destinasi pertamaku adalah kedai buku. Setelah membeli akupun belah.


Ke giant. Niatku hanya mencari tiga benda. Mayonis, megi tomyam dan air freshener. Sudah berkurun rumahku kehabisan mayonis tetapi kami sering terlupa membeli yang baru. Megi tomyam pula adalah sejenis makanan yang dimakan apabila perutku mengada-ngada. Air freshener? Aku cari demi ibu tercinta. Untuk mewangikan bilikku yang dikatakan berbau. Berbaukah? Aku rasa biasa sahaja.


Setelah mengambil bakul, aku terus menapak mencari rak mayonis. Oh, tu dia. Dulu rumahku menggunakan mayonis kraft, tetapi sekarang sudah bertukar kepada lady's choice. Aku lebih sukakan mayonis kraft kerana rasanya tidaklah semanis mayonis lady's choice. Ada mayonis kraft disana. Tanganku mencapai mayonis kraft didalam botol kecil itu.

Tiba-tiba "PRANGG!". Ada lagi satu botol diatas botol itu rupanya. Manalah aku nampak. Siapa suruh buat label kuning tu besar sangat. Lantas botol yang tidak berdosa itupun jatuh berhamburan kelantai meluahkan isi-isinya. Aku terkesima tanpa kata.

"eh, nak buat apa ni?", tanyaku kepada diri sendiri.

Aku pun menjenguk kekiri kekanan mencari staff Giant terdekat. Sambil-sambil itu sempat lagi menjenguk harga sebotol mayonis yang baru sahaja aku pecahkan tadi. Rm3.89.

"fuhh selamat", bisik hatiku. Mujur mayonis tidak semahal cheese.

Akupun pergi mendapatkan seorang kakak di kaunter penimbang.

"Akak, saya terpecahkan botol mayonis lah, macam mana ehh?"

Akak itupun memanggil seorang lagi staff untuk membantuku. Seorang brader. Mukanya tidak semesra alam. 

"Ha, macam mana boleh pecah ni?", tanyanya.

Aku tahu hati dia dah mengelegak tu. "Nak bukak puasa buat hal pulak customer ni". Mesti dia fikir begitu. Tapi bukan aku sengaja. Ingat aku suka-suka ke pergi giant main pecah-pecah botol mayonis orang? Hey pinggan kat rumah tu pun aku tak habis pecah lagi taw. [eh teremo pulak]


Lepas brader tu kemas dan aku membayar gantirugi, aku pun menyambung tujuan asalku, mencari tiga benda tadi.
